Owner/Director Alejandro holds Terpsichore Masters and Fellows Degrees in
Ballroom Dance and has a 20+ year proven outstanding background of
achievement in dance education and business leadership. He has extensive
expertise in teaching all styles of Ballroom and Latin dancing.
He is high energy, dynamic in teaching and management with exceptional interpersonal
and communication skills. He excels in supervising and motivating teachers
and students at all levels. Teacher/student relationships are based on
mutual trust and communication.
Alejandro has earned many commendations from television, print media and
the Chicago Public School's "Having a Ball" Dance Program including the
2007 Chicago Citywide Dance Championship and the Chicago City Public School's
Plaque Presentation for Excellent Partnership from Mayor Richard Daley (2007).
He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, "Starting Over" on NBC, life/career
story on Univision "Algo Nuestro", Channel 7 Feature News, Channel 9 Feature
News, On the Spot TV program, and in a Golden Signal Telephone Commercial.
He has been featured in Sunday Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Weekend Edition,
Chicago Sun-Times, and in the "Chicago Magazine".
Alejandro has competed in many National, Regional and local Dance Competitions
and has won several Midwest Dance Titles. He has performed, judged, and taught
at many local and national events and dance competitions.
