Private classes provide individual instruction and attention from the
instructor in a supportive and non-pressured atmosphere. The student
has an opportunity to work at his or her own pace in areas that are
helpful to him or her.
Because private lessons provide that individual attention, learning to
dance salsa is accelerated bringing the student to a higher level of
dancing in a shorter period of time. With the focus on one student or
one couple, the instructor is free to concentrate on identifying the
particular strengths and weaknesses of those particular individuals.
Being able to identify these unique characteristics the instructor can
help the student exploit their strengths, address their weaknesses,
refine the areas that can use improvement and finally, when approaching
their advanced levels of dancing, the instructor can teach the students
to "flash it up" adding flare to their moves.
As any experienced salsero will tell you, private lessons are highly
recommended and stressed as the best way to go. Because of the advantages
to both the student and the instructor, private lessons present the
best value both in terms of time and money. It is the best value in
terms of time because you'll learn everything faster. It is the
best value in terms of money because you'll end up spending less in
the long run. For those who face financial constraints, a combination
of private and group lessons is an excellent strategy. Private lessons
are scheduled with the instructor by appointment depending on the
student's as well as the instructor's schedules.

lessons is at $58 per hour for up to 4 people plus $14 per hour
